What is redu?
redu is the free Moldovan app that compares grocery and household prices across the country’s stores. It shows what your whole cart costs at each store, picks the cheapest store for every item, and uses price history to tell you whether a discount is real. No account.
How does price comparison work for my whole cart?
Add products to your list, then open the “Best Prices” tab. redu picks the cheapest store for every item and shows how much you save at each one. You can limit the comparison to your own stores, such as “the ones near home”.
Which stores are in redu, and how fresh are the prices?
Moldova’s big chains - Linella, Kaufland, Metro, Nr.1, Bonus, Mega Alina, Zolușca and more; see the full list. Prices update with every new catalog, usually weekly, and every offer shows how long it lasts.
Can I add my own items and choose my stores?
Yes. Besides tracked products, you can type any item into your list, such as “eggs from the market”, so the list is complete. You can also make your own store groups, like “my usual three”, and compare only those.
Price history
How do I know a discount is real?
Open any product and tap “Price history”. You see each store’s price over the last months and the usual price - the median of the lowest price over 90 days. If today’s price is at least 10% below it, the app says “Real discount”. See live examples.
What do “Real discount”, “3-month low” and “Inflated discount” mean?
Real discount: today’s price is at least 10% below the usual price. 1-, 3- or 6-month low: it’s the lowest price of that period across all stores. Inflated discount: the “old” price on the tag is well above what that store usually charges - the app shows what you really save. How we read a discount.
How far back does the history go?
Since February 2026, for every product at every store. In the app you pick one month, three months or the whole history, and drag across the chart to compare stores on any day.
Alerts & lists
How do price-drop alerts work?
Save products to Favorites. When one gets cheaper, it shows up in the Price Drops tab with the old price, the new one and the drop. Turn on notifications to hear about it even when the app is closed.
Can I share my list or a deal?
Yes. In your list, the share button turns it into a clean message for Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp or SMS - handy for family shopping. From any product you can send the deal with a redu.md/deal/… link that opens right in the app.
Can I browse the store catalogs?
Yes. The “Catalogs” tab collects the stores’ weekly flyers, with cover and validity dates. Open one full screen with zoom, or browse the discounted products by category.

Yes, it’s free: no subscription, no in-app purchases. And there’s no account - your list, favorites and settings stay on your phone.
Which languages does redu speak?
